His Will Is One

Hello dear Readers. It is another beautiful weekend and a good time to be renewed by the word of God.

What I titled last week’s post was “God Is One” and because I couldn’t finish what I was explaining, I said I’d complete it this week.

The whole of my post last week was simply pointing out that the will of God does not change… If you didn’t read last week’s post, you can do that here. I also mentioned that what I’ll focus on in this post is the matter of understanding the will of God because I see that we judge the faithfulness or fulfillment of the will of God by our experiences.

Romans 12:2 (KJV)
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

See “that good…will of God”. Now, what I’m about to say may not be a popular saying but I believe it having looked at the scriptures by the help of the Holy Spirit. It doesn’t mean the popular one is wrong, I just want to put it in perspective.

GOD HAS ONLY ONE WILL WHICH MANIFESTS IN TWO PARTS.

Don’t disagree dear friend, let’s look at the scriptures and be blessed… It’s not about agreeing with me, it’s about being blessed and renewed.

Colossians 1:19 (KJV)
“For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;”

This is the first part in which the ultimate will of God was made manifest. It was to the end that all things be reconciled to God. Now this was fulfilled when Christ came to the earth, died, was raised and still had a body and then ascended with His glorious body after showing Himself to His own. Do you see what the will of God is now? Do you see it has already been fulfilled? Now before I go into the second part (I hope it’s not next week) let’s address something.

What about the will of God concerning health, prosperity, wealth, my business, career, marriage, comfort, etc.? Now, concerning these things, the will of God has already been done when He fulfilled His one ultimate will… Let me explain with scriptures… The Bible says that through the sin of one, death reigned but through the righteousness of one, we have received life (paraphrasing). I hope you know the death there cuts across all spheres of human life. Illness, poverty, trouble, depression, etc… My point is this, these things are as a result of death reigning, they are not separated things to be dealt with. Therefore, since the will of God which is the fullness of the life of Christ has been fulfilled, anyone who has faith has been brought into this life and it also cuts across all areas of their living here and eternity.

Read that again…

Listen to this, God doesn’t fulfil His “will” for your eternal salvation alone and then, daily, decides what His will is concerning your health and other aspects of your life here on earth and the day you fall sick, since we know He’s powerful enough to stop it and didn’t stop it, then the sickness must be His will. No Sir!!! That one sacrifice and victory fulfilled His will for you in the now and eternity which is fullness of life. It destroys legally everything associated with death. It is not a daily decision, death couldn’t have been destroyed and the works of death have free legal operation.

Colossians 2:14-15 (KJV)
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

Ask yourself these questions to see what you truly have believed, What is the will of God? Has it been fulfilled? Can it change?

Why does it seem like we don’t experience this all the time? Let this be our discussion next week as we discuss the second part of the will of God.

Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you were blessed. If you were, don’t forget to share, like and drop a comment. God bless you.
