Welcome again precious reader. Thank you for always making it a date with me on Friday… No better day to have a date… Ahahahah.
For the last two weeks, I’ve been writing to you about the will of God. I started with God is One and last week His will is one. I established the truth that the ultimate will of God is one manifesting in two parts. One part was explained last week, and this week is for the second part.
Let’s start with this scripture;
Romans 8:29 (KJV)
“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
That is the second part of the will of God. The conformation into the image of Jesus Christ.
Somehow, we have made the conformation, which is the will of God, become the “and all other things will be added” and we’ve made the “and all other things will be added” look like all that God sent His son to come and achieve with His blood.
Our focus is on our comfort, comfort in all sense of the word. Now, if this is our mindset, if this is all your mind is fixed on, you will without a doubt sacrifice your conformity to the person of Christ Jesus for your comfort.
Colossians 2:9-10 (KJV)
“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:”
When a wealthy father withdraws some privileges his son had access to because he’s not doing well in school, the question is not directed at the father’s ability to provide, it is always directed at the continuous obedience of the child to the desire and goal of his father for him. Will he keep thinking about his fathers ability to provide for him? Will he keep thinking about what he has been denied of and if he’ll ever get them back or should he be focused on excelling academically, as this will please his father?
Last week, we established that the lord has cancelled the all that was legally written against us… He is not going to achieve it, He has done it by His death… Colossians 2:13 -15. Therefore, Jesus has all the power, He has set you free from sin and death.
Seeing that this is not what He’s trying to achieve and that this is not exactly His will in the first place, our focus should be on that which He’s doing in us which is conforming us to the image of His dear Son; Jesus Christ.

So what happens when we face adverse situations, I can guarantee you that it is to the end that your faith is both tested and strengthened, that having overcome by your faith and testimony (which is the testimony of His word), you may increase in the knowledge of Christ, therefore in sanctification… Just like Job!!! Hallelujah!!!
When He allows the devil inflict you, it’s either you have walked out of how and what He has instructed you to walk in or He wants to see if you truly believe. Your faith must be tested, you see. For any of these two reasons, the aim is to bring His will to pass, which is to make us be like Him.
So, adelphoi, let it be known to you what the Lord’s work in you is. Let it be known to you that He is faithful and nothing with Him is “yea” and “nay”. Let it be known to you that God doesn’t change and His will is one so that when you seem to fall ill which is against the provision of God, your testimony and faith concerning what His will is does not change and you will hold on to His truth as written in the scriptures… You will contend for the Faith and by it be transformed.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (KJV)
“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
Great grace to you in Jesus name.
Please don’t forget to share this post if you were blessed. A like and a comment will be appreciated. God bless you.
