Righteousness; The Best Buy

Hello dear reader. I know you’re wondering what I’m up to today. Can you buy righteousness? I thought righteousness was a gift from God. How much will I have to pay for that? These are the questions running through your mind.

Let me not forget to say thank you for coming here to read from me. I pray you will be blessed.

Of a truth, righteousness is received by faith which makes it a gift. However, every gift was paid for, just not by the one who will receive and use it.
Every currency that could be gotten, every note, every coin that exists on the earth is no where near the cost of paying for your sins and inputting you with the righteousness of God. Finally, the suitable and perfect currency was found, the blood of the only begotten of the father who had to come down to earth in flesh to suffer and die on the Cross and to be raised victoriously.

His life was the cost of your salvation, your imputed righteousness.
The cost of the imputed righteousness (salvation) is not my main focus today, it is the cost of maintenance.

When a man accepts the gospel of Christ, believes and repents, he ought to maintain the imputed righteousness at all cost. Grace is not the excuse to sin but the ability to sin no more… No matter what it costs you.

Let me use the analogy of a man who just obtained a car. That car makes things really easy for him it makes movement easy, fast, convenient etc. For this reason, that man will spend to keep that car in good shape. He will service the car, he will replace any faulty part, he will buy some extra fittings, he will wash it often, he might even go overboard and name the car… Casandra ahahah

Friend, in the same way, you ought to go the extra mile for this precious gift of righteousness you have received no matter what it will cost you because it is worth more than anything that is made of material substance… Money, Fame, cars, houses, power, name it. Nothing compares to it, therefore, at all cost, keep it.

What is righteousness? Righteousness is the faith of God at work in and through you. In more simple terms, righteousness is Faith with works… You see, Abraham had faith and righteousness was inputted to him by reason of his faith.

Matthew 13:45-46 (KJV)
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.”

Look at that!!
A man sells all he has to buy this one pearl of great value.
Let this mind be in you dear friend.

The righteousness is like a pearl of great value… Great substance. You must keep it no matter what it costs you.
When you see it, you must give up all, family, friends, affluence, influence, Personas… Everything to keep this righteousness of great value because when you have it, you have all.

Let’s look at this scripture that represents in an intense manner the extent we should go to keep the precious gift we’ve received.

Matthew 5:29-30 (KJV)
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.”

Do you see the severity that we must be ready to take just to keep our feet on the path of righteousness. Your car needs maintenance!!! While driving, you keep your hands on the stirring wheel to keep the car on track!!!

Dear friend, let’s ask the Lord to give us understanding of the worth of his love and righteousness which will help us see the vanity, imperfection and the unsatisfying ability of everything else… Pray
